Product details and benefits: These carefully chosen ingredients are well known for their Restorative, Antifungal, Antimicrobial, Anti-inflammatory, Antioxidant, Antiseptic & Antibacterial properties. Rosmary is also known to improve blood circulation and therefore it is believed to improve follicle health and increase hair growth. As a scalp massage oil, it is believed to be able to improve the hydration level, therefore calming the over productive sebum (oil) glands that causes hair to appear oily.
Suitable for: Curly or straight hair, dry or scaly scalp (including dandruff). Works well for both fine and course hair.
Directions for use: Can be used daily or as often as needed on wet or dry hair. Use sparingly, as you can always add more later if and as needed. A little goes a long way.
For straight hair: Squirt a few drops of the oil into the palm of your hand, then lightly rub palms together to warm the oil. Gently glide the ends of the hair between the palms of the hands and make sure that all ends are covered. Style hair as per normal.
For Curly hair: Squirt a few drops of the oil onto your fingers and palm of your hand. Lightly rub your hands together to warm up the oil. Gently work the oil into the hair by pressing fingers (in a clawed position) into the hair in a slightly upward motion, lifting the roots of the hair away from the scalp and allowing the curls to form naturally. Start at the top and work your way all the way down into the neck. Then just gently scrunch the hair upward, lifting the hair to the roots, but avoiding all rubbing as this will break the curls. IT also works to scrunch the hair when tossed upside down to create looser natural curls once flicked back.
For Oily hair and dry/flaky scalp: Try to do this scalp massage at least a few hours before washing your hair to get the best benefit (leaving the oil in overnight is ideal). Squirt a few drops of the oil onto your fingers (both hands) and with claw-like hands, place your fingertips, pushing upward under the hair, onto the scalp. Start massaging the scalp in small circular motions, making sure that you cover the entire scalp and hairline. If sleeping with the freshly applied oil, place a hand towel or old pillow case over precious linen to avoid staining.
