Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera) is an adaptogenic herb, meaning that it helps to reduce the impact of stressors on the body and restores the balance of hormone levels and strengthen the immune system. It is known to be an anti-inflammatory, anti-tumorous, anti-anxiety and anti-inflammatory.
