Our synergy tincture range is a very carefully selected blend of 3-5 different herbs that compliment each other to support a specific wellness pathway. Some people prefer using a synergy (blend) as they can benefit from the combined powerhouse of characteristics all in one, rather than the single tinctures.
 
This specific synergy consists of: Rosemary, Chamomile, Plantain, Stinging Nettle
Together they are believed to have the following characteristics and benefits: neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-tumorigenic, anti-nociceptive, anti-apoptotic, antihistamine, anti-spasmodic, anti-microbial and antiseptic, antiviral, detoxifying, anti-diabetic, analgesic and antinociceptive.
In traditional medicine, this synergy would typically have been used for nervous system support, to improve memory, learning and concentration, sleep quality, blood circulation and to improve follicle health and hair growth as well as lessen anxiety and pain. Also for colds and flu, infections of the upper respiratory airways, asthma, insect bites and blisters, allergies like hay-fever and intestinal discomfort to only name a few.
Here is a little bit of information on each herb individually to see just how powerful this synergy is:
Rosemary (Salvia rosmarinus) is a herb that is believed to have neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-tumorigenic, anti-nociceptive and anti-apoptotic properties. 
In traditional medicine it was used to improve memory, learning and concentration, sleep quality, blood circulation and to improve follicle health and hair growth as well as lessen anxiety and pain (especially related to neuropathy). Some also believe that it aids in blood-pressure regulation due to aiding in dilating the blood vessels.
German & Roman Chamomile (Matricaria Chamomilla & Chamaemelum nobile), a nervine, is a fragrant herbaceous flowering plant, known for it’s calming, soothing, relaxing and mildly tranquillizing properties. It is a natural anti-anxiety, anti-oxidant, anti-spasmodic, anti-microbial, anti-carcinogenic, anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, anti-diarrheal, antihistamine effect.
In traditional medicine it was used to treat depression, anxiety and nervousness, stress, neuralgia, allergies (including insect bites), canker sores, ulcers, gout, skin irritation and eczema, urinary tract inflammation, bowel inflammation or irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) including bloating, colic and diarrhoea, detoxing and a tonic for immune support.
 
Plantain (Plantago Major & Plantago Lanceolata) is an herb that is believed to have anti-histamine, anti-spasmodic, anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and antiseptic properties. 
In traditional medicine it was used to treat colds and flu, infections of the upper respiratory airways, asthma, insect bites and blisters (topically and internally), allergies like hay-fever and intestinal discomfort.
 
Stinging Nettle (Urtica dioica) is an herb that is believed to have anti-histamine, anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, antiproliferative, antioxidant, analgesic, anti-infectious, hypotensive, and anti-ulcerous properties. Stinging nettle contains calcium, iron, protein, phosphorus, and vitamins A, K, and C, making it a good overall tonic.
In traditional medicine it was used to treat hay fever, high blood pressure, anti-diabetic effects – lowering blood sugar (by increasing insulin secretion and proliferating the pancreatic B-cels, not recommended if using Diabetic-prescribed pharmaceuticals), osteoarthritis, arthritis and chronic myalgia, pain in muscles and joints, eczema, gout, anaemia, heart health, early stages of enlarged prostrate, enlarged spleen, Heavy Menstrual relief, improve blood circulation and an overall tonic.

Ingredients:
We use organic certified and organically grown ingredient where possible, with no synthetic color, fragrance or harmful chemicals. 
 
Rosemary, Chamomile, Plantain, Stinging Nettle plant material extracted by proof Alcohol, diluted to 50-60% when bottled. 
 
Storage:
Store in a dark and cool place. It will be shelf stable as long as it is not exposed to direct sunlight or heat. Common sense is the best advice; If if tastes or smells bad, throw it out (that's to say when it no longer smells or taste like the plant represented).
